CamperBoys is Off now
Rebranding
We are Off
Our rebranding was a feeling and not a number.
That may sound strange, but the fact is: Most rebrandings are the result of economic necessity, shitstorms or internal restructuring.
Ours wasn't.
We are rebranding because not wanting to exclude anyone is enough reason to change everything.
What does rebranding mean?
What does rebranding mean?
In our case, rebranding means changing large parts of our brand identity: Our appearance.
This includes our name, our design, our tonality and our imagery.
How did this come about?
How did this come about?
It all started at our workation in Portugal in 2022, with a workshop about the name "CamperBoys".
Together we realized that it didn't resonate as much with us anymore. The idea to change everything was born.
Shortly after the workation, our founders Andi and Paul agreed to a rebranding. From then on months of brainstorming began.
It would become our biggest project yet.
We changed a running system
But Why?
Because companies carry responsibility
Responsibility for the visibility of diversity in society, but also for the feelings of all people traveling in our campers. We don't want anyone to have to explain themselves because they are excluded by our name.
Because we have grown
CamperBoys used to fit... Back when CamperBoys was just our founders Andi and Paul. But, like it is when we grow, we happen to outgrow things. Our team is now large and unique and open: We want a brand that fully reflects our values. A brand that we are all proud of.
Because the glossy vanlife illusion sucks
Camping isn't always pretty. Sometimes it's cold and wet and dirty. And that's exactly why it's great. We wanted realness. For this we not only need a new name, but a new identity. One that is more honest - more authentic, more direct and more welcoming to everyone.
Why "Off"?
Because being off has never been more important! In our everyday lives, we are always online, always available, always on the go. This makes the rare off moments all the more special and all the more important. Being off means slowing down, focusing on the essentials and recharging batteries.
Same same, but different!
Essentials stay the same
