In about 10 minutes you can walk to the S-Bahn stop ´Riem` and be at the Oktoberfest in only 20 minutes. The approach is via Riemer Straße from the highway exit ´Am Moosfeld`. You'll find well-maintained sanitary facilities, a small supermarket, a souvenir store and, if required, lockers - everything on site at the Oktoberfest Camping Munich.

The Wiesn Camp in Riem

Simply take the A99 eastern bypass to the ´München-Ost` freeway intersection, continue in the direction of ´München` until you reach the ´Daglfing` exit, then follow the signs for ´Olympia Reitanlage` or ´Wies'n Camp`. In the navigation system you enter ´Landshamer Straße`. The entrance to the camp is on Landshamer Straße / corner of Schichtlstraße. The way to the Oktoberfest takes only 20 minutes and you can even walk to the S-Bahn stop ´Riem` in only 5 minutes.

Camping Munich-Thalkirchen

Wiesn-Camping Thalkirchen - more fun for less money. The camping site is located close to the centre at the raft area of the Isarkanal and you have a great subway connection to the Oktoberfest. From the subway station ´Thalkirchen` with the U3 direction Moosach it is only four stops to the stop ´Goetheplatz`. From there it's about a four minute walk.
