- What is the motto of Euro 2024? ‘United by Football. United in the heart of Europe’ - a message of unity, togetherness and inclusion: Everyone should feel at home in football.
- What is the official mascot of Euro 2024? May we introduce: Albärt - a teddy bear. Users of Uefa.com and schoolchildren across Europe voted for the name (the competitors included Bärnardo, Bärnheart and Herzi von Bär) 🐻
- Which one is THE EM Song 2024? The German singer Leony, together with the US band One Republic and the Italians Meduza, has chosen the produced the song ‘FIRE’ for Euro 2024. Unofficially, however, the song ‘Major Tom’ by Peter Schilling is in the running.
- When was the first European Men's Football Championship held? The first European Championship took place in France in 1960, but was still called the ‘European Cup of Nations’ at the time. In 1966, UEFA officially declared the competition the European Football Championship.
- Who are the reigning European champions? Italy. At Euro 2021, the Italian team beat England 4:3 in the final at Wembley Stadium in London.
- Which country holds the record for the most European Championship titles? Two answers are correct: Germany and Spain. Both have won the European Championship title three times, Germany in 1972, 1980 and 1996 and Spain in 1964, 2008 and 2012. Italy follows in third place.

Camping 2024 European Football Championship: these are the advantagesat the
- A spontaneous alternative when hotels and holiday flats in the host cities are fully booked.
- Often the cheaper accommodation option compared to overpriced hotels during the European Championships - also because you can cook and cater for yourself in the camper.
- Short and uncomplicated journey to the stadium: either by campervan or public transport. Some cities even have campsites where you can get to the stadium in just 10 minutes by car. Our tip, however, is to choose a campsite from which you can get to the stadium by public transport to avoid the expected traffic chaos. True professionals simply take their bikes with them and can then cycle to and from the stadium at their leisure.
- The ideal contrast to the action and hustle and bustle surrounding the football matches: Sitting in the sun on your personal terrace in front of the camper before or after the game with a cold beer from your camper fridge and reviewing the game - sounds quite passable, doesn't it?
- Camping experience with other football fans, because shared joy is double the joy: You probably won't be the only person camping during the European Championships - so you can probably expect a cool atmosphere at the campsite where you can continue to enjoy the football euphoria and maybe talk a bit of shop.
- Lots of flexibility: Many of the campsites that we can recommend for your visit to the European Championships are not only close to the stadium, but also to the city centres - with your camper you are flexible and can always go on exploratory tours in between to get the most out of your holiday.
