Camping 2024 European Football Championship: these are the advantagesat the

Now that we've clarified the important facts, it's time to find suitable accommodation in the ten host cities of Euro 2024 - unfortunately, that's sometimes not so easy. We therefore recommend: go camping!
You can find well-equipped and beautifully located campsites in all ten European Championship host cities - often in the immediate vicinity of the stadiums and city centres with fan zones. After cheering on the national team, you can simply hop on the S-Bahn and fall into the cosy camper bed of your home on four wheels - or end the day at the campsite. Many of our campsite tips even have a snack bar, kiosk or restaurant waiting for hungry or thirsty guests. Dogs are usually also welcome.
The right vehicle for your football and camping adventure? You'll find it with us! These are the advantages of camping during the European Championships:
  • A spontaneous alternative when hotels and holiday flats in the host cities are fully booked.
  • Often the cheaper accommodation option compared to overpriced hotels during the European Championships - also because you can cook and cater for yourself in the camper.
  • Short and uncomplicated journey to the stadium: either by campervan or public transport. Some cities even have campsites where you can get to the stadium in just 10 minutes by car. Our tip, however, is to choose a campsite from which you can get to the stadium by public transport to avoid the expected traffic chaos. True professionals simply take their bikes with them and can then cycle to and from the stadium at their leisure.
  • The ideal contrast to the action and hustle and bustle surrounding the football matches: Sitting in the sun on your personal terrace in front of the camper before or after the game with a cold beer from your camper fridge and reviewing the game - sounds quite passable, doesn't it?
  • Camping experience with other football fans, because shared joy is double the joy: You probably won't be the only person camping during the European Championships - so you can probably expect a cool atmosphere at the campsite where you can continue to enjoy the football euphoria and maybe talk a bit of shop.
  • Lots of flexibility: Many of the campsites that we can recommend for your visit to the European Championships are not only close to the stadium, but also to the city centres - with your camper you are flexible and can always go on exploratory tours in between to get the most out of your holiday.
